Registration There are no registration fees. The first months lesson fees plus a two week cancellation deposit is required as the lessons begin after the first lesson. Two weeks notice of withdrawal from lessons is required. Trial Period First lesson is at half price for you to try our service, we are able to do this because we are confident of our teachers as evidenced by our high retention rate; many of our students have studied with us for over two years. Per Month Payment Payments are due in full on or prior to, the first day of the month. Checks can be mailed to us or you can pay the teachers directly. Checks and money orders should be made payable to LI Lessons at Home, dated for the first day of the month. If payment has not been received by our office by the seventh day of the month, A late penalty of $25.00 will be added to your account. Please allow ample time when mailing, so that checks and payments may arrive on time to avoid late penalties. If fees and late penalties have not been received by the end of the fourteenth day of that month, the student will not receive lessons until all tuition and late penalties are paid. If you prefer you may pay by postdated checks. Please inform our office of your choice and we will gladly provide you the appropriate monthly total. Withdrawal / Cancellation Of Lessons Monthly Two weeks notice is necessary when a student is to be withdrawn from lessons. The two week period commences on the date notice is received by LI Lessons at Home. If a student is withdrawn without notice the two-week cancellation deposit will be forfeited. If proper notice is given the non-refundable two-week Cancellation Deposit will be put towards your last 2 lessons for the school year. We follow the same calendar year as the schools
in regards to Christmas Holidays and February Break. In all other
instances do not teach on the individual Federal or State holidays, unless prior arrangements have been made with our
office you will not be billed for lessons during these times. If you wish to
reschedule lessons in place of Holidays, please call us to make
arrangements. Missed Lessons If you should need to miss a lesson for any reason your teacher will do their best to reschedule a lesson with you although they are not obligated to do so. Some teachers have a very busy schedules and may not be able to reschedule. Students may miss two lessons per year with no penalty provided they give the office twenty four hours notice. If the teacher goes to your home and the student is not available for lessons, you will be charged for a full lesson, teachers have been instructed to wait ten minutes before reporting the lesson missed.
